On Monday night 3-star running back Kalin Heath, Cartersville, GA, committed to Kansas State via Facebook.
Heath, who checks in at 6-3, 180 pounds and runs a 4.63 40, also held offers from Washington State, Louisville, Mississippi State, Cincinnati, and Indiana among others according to 247sports.com.
According to his twitter K-State made a good impression on Heath's mom during his visit this past weekend, and clearly it didn't take long for him to decide mom was right and commit to the Wildcats.
@UThey say mothers know best! And my mom said when she stepped in the complex she wanted me to commit. That was her #1 school now mine

ESPN's Insider Scouting Report ($) reminds me of a mix between a Daniel Thomas and John Hubert. He appears to be a guy who can shoulder the bulk of the carries and push the pile, while lacking top end speed to break away to the outside edge.
BOTTOM LINE: Heath is a player that may be recruited for his athletic ability and could see a move to TE or H-back. His size and physical skill set should make him a productive player at the next level.
With this pick up it appears K-State has the back field tandem of the future already locked up, early in the 2015 recruiting process. Alex Delton, weighed in via Twitter to show his support for his newest future teammate.
Everybody STOP what your doing & follow my fam @UnHuman32 & the newest KSU commit!! Welcome to the family bro . #EMAW

This is the 5th commitment already this recruiting season and another solid pick up for recruiter extrodinaire WR Coach Andre Coleman. Coleman also was the primary recruiter for Isaiah Zuber, WR Stone Mountain, GA, who clearly looks to have the Georgia to Manhattan pipeline cooking.
