Is someone trying to create a K-State/South Dakota rivalry here?

There's no doubleheader even though the men will also play South Dakota at Bramlage tomorrow, which seems either silly or cynical depending on one's perspective. But regardless, on the heels of a hugely positive piece of women's basketball news today, Jeff Mittie leads his charges forward tonight.

The game: Kansas State hosts the South Dakota Coyotes. The two teams have met once before, just last year when K-State won 68-53. South Dakota has visited Manhattan three times, most recently in 2012, and the Wildcats have won each time. They've also won a fourth meeting, a neutral site game in March 1981 which was neither an AIAW tournament game nore a WNIT game, so your guess is as good as ours.

Tickets: Tickets (to both games) are available from the ticket office for $8, $12 for chairbacks, $20 for floor seats.

Television: FOX College Sports Central at 7:00 CT with Brian Smoller and Missy Heidrick. That's 608 on DirecTV, 448 on Dish, 268 on Cox, and 321 on Time Warner.

Radio: K-State Sports Network, with Matt Walters and Kristin Waller. There is no satellite broadcast.

Online: Video streaming via KStateHD.TV. Audio streaming and live stats via KStateHD.TV and Gamecenter.
