Leti Romero: It's finally over!

After two months of complaints, inept decision-making, blind Twitter outrage, bizarre leaks and "clerical errors," Big 12 Freshman of the Year Leti Romero is free to transfer from Kansas State to any school outside the conference.

Leti will probably need to get some new shoes, unless she goes to a school like Northwestern or Weber State.

Kansas State's long PR nightmare is over. Hopefully. Thanks to John Currie's letter to President Schulz Kansas State has changed its own longstanding policies and granted Leti Romero a transfer release (don't say "scholarship release" or Jon will yell at you) for any school outside the Big 12. Keep in mind she'll still have to sit out next season and should be able to play in the 2015-16 season.

The only loser here? Maybe Middle Tennessee. The Blue Raiders probably aren't as attractive of an option to Leti now that more than 300 other schools are available.
