Bring On The Cats TBT Bracket Challenge

The TBT starts this week and we’ve got a bracket challenge (WITH A PRIZE!)

I hinted at this in my last TBT article, and now it’s official. The TBT is partnering with Bring on the Cats to provide a site specific prize for the TBT Bracket Challenge. The monetary cost for entering this contest is however much 5-10 minutes of your time is worth. For the multi-taskers in the group, you can fill this out while sitting on the can, thus killing two birds with one stone (I know y’all are scrolling through your phone in the bathroom. You don’t have to lie to me. We’re all friends here — but be sure to wash your hands).

You can find the rules, regulations for the Bring on the Cats Specific League right here.

Note: To be eligible for the Bring on the Cats specific prize, you have to be a member of Bring on the Cats and 18+.

Now, onto the fun stuff.

National Level Prizes

These don’t have anything to do with Bring On The Cats. You’ve got to be smarter (and luckier) than everyone else in the country who signed up for the challenge to win these. You don’t have to be a member of BOTC to win these.

Site Specific Prize

The winner of the Bring On The Cats Bracket Challenge will receiver these unreleased Puma basketball shoes.

I know y’all, I’ve played pick up basketball in church gyms with you, and some of you need to step up your shoe game. Now when you splash a 3 in my face because I forgot that your shooting ability was finely honed on a Kansas driveway in 20 mile per hour winds, you’ll look good doing it.

All you need to do is fill out your bracket before the start of the tournament, outsmart (or out luck) the rest of us, finish first, and TBT will hook you up. In the spirit of the TBT, this is a winner takes all bracket. We flirted with the idea of providing second place with an autographed head shot of the BOTC writer of your choice (me naturally) but didn’t want to further depress the runner up.

Don’t Know Anything About the TBT?

You can pick your bracket based on your favorite school, player, etc. You can go straight chalk and flip a coin when the #1 seeds face off (the cowards way out, but hey, you do you) or you can head over the TBT site and check out the rosters (recommended). I’ll have all the Purple and Black game previews for you on BOTC.

In Conclusion

I’m excited about this opportunity the TBT is providing us, and hope to make this a regular summer BOTC event. Let’s make this worth their while by signing up en masse and showing the rest of the nation that we’re smarter, luckier, and significantly more attractive than the other sites participating in the TBT Bracket Challenge.

Don’t forget, the tournament starts July 16th. Get your picks in early. My bracket is filled out and ready to go.
