Bramlage Coliseum will be a beehive of activity tonight as the K-State women’s and men’s basketball teams will be in action versus the respective Hornets of Emporia State.

The women are already underway against the preseason MIAA 3rd-ranked Hornets. The Cats are playing their 50th season this year, and are ready to improve on their 23-11 2016-17 season that ended in a 2nd Round NCAA Tournament loss.

The game can be seen live and for free on K-StateHD.TV, as James Westling (play-by-play) and Kristin Waller(color analyst) will have the call. If you are in the Manhattan area, the game is also available over-the-air on Sunny 102.5.

The men will follow at 8pm (or 30 minutes after the end of the women’s game, whichever is later) against a Hornet squad that finished 13-16 last season and 9th in the MIAA. This should be an easy victory for the Cats against an over-matched ESU team.

The game will be available on FOX Sports Kansas City, K-StateHD.TV [free], and ESPN3 with Brian Smoller (play-by-play) and former Wildcat guard Schyler Thomas (analyst) on the call. The game can be heard over-the-air on the K-State Sports Network with Wade Gerstner (play-by-play) and former Washburn coach and Wildcat guard Bob Chipman (analyst) on the call (you may want to mute the TV and listen to the radio for this one). You can also listen online at TuneIn.com [free] or www.kstatesports.com/watch [free].
