But this one came out of nowhere, as we've never had any indication that Big Gip had inclinations of that stripe. Probably nothing will come of this, but it's fun to think about. More importantly, however, it may be indicative of a growing institutional relationship between K-State and the Packers.

Obviously, the Packers admire the football program under Bill Snyder. They've got Jordy Nelson up there and understand exactly what Bill Snyder is able to do with unheralded talent. Could they be so enamored with the program that a call to come look at a senior basketball player gets taken seriously?
