Kansas State can add another preseason accolade to its ledger.
The Wildcats were ranked No. 20 in the Associated Press preseason poll, which was released Monday morning. They were also listed No. 19 in the coaches poll.
It’s the second time in four years being ranked in the AP preseason poll for K-State, which returns 18 starters for this season.
Four other Big 12 teams joined the Wildcats in the AP poll: Oklahoma (No. 7), Oklahoma State (No. 10), West Virginia (No. 22) and Texas (No. 23).
The Wildcats begin the 2017 campaign on Sept. 2 at home against Central Arkansas.
