Football in April! It's like it's 1982 again or something! Back before some idiot ruined the joyous experience of real live professional football 9 months a year.
The game: Kansas State takes on, um, Kansas State in the 2016 Purple-White Spring Game. One can never be certain due to the mercurial nature of the hall of fame coach wandering the sideline, but you can expect that the game will pit the first team against the second team, with the score being reversed at halftime. There are a ton of storylines today, which JT expertly covered for you last night.
Kickoff: Saturday, April 23 at 1:10pm CT, Bill Snyder Family Stadium (50,000) in Manhattan, Kansas.
Tickets: Tickets are $5 at the gate; gates open at 11:30am. End zone and upper-deck seating will be closed for the day.
Television: The game is not televised.
Radio: 12:30pm on selected K-State Sports Network outlets (including WHB, KMAN, KTOP, and KQAM, with Wyatt Thompson, Stan Weber, and Matt Walters; also available on Sirius 106/XM 199.
