By way of analysis, I'll hit the high points for each major position grouping. There was only one change to the official depth chart this week, but I took the opportunity to continue making more minor adjustments of my own.
There are no changes this week.
This week brought an exciting new development, as Clinkscales supplanted Seiwert in an "OR" position with Roberts, who hardly plays, as Britz's backup.
This is official acknowledgement of what we're all seeing on the field, which is that Clinkscales clearly is earning the coaches' trust with his play and seeing more playing time. He very well could be our ace in the hole down the stretch.
The Davis-Johnson merry-go-round at middle linebacker continued for yet another week, with Johnson sliding back in against Oklahoma State. We really need him this week, so let's hope that ankle holds up.
I made one tiny alteration here, which was to remove the "OR" between Burns and Jones on kick returns. The former just ran one back and the latter has a gimpy ankle — it really was a no-brainer.
