Sorry, Slate a little delayed today due to technical issues.
Basketball
Another game, another disappointing finish. Luke Sobba got through the malaise enough to actually recap the garbage in Norman, where the WeberCats got blown-out 76-50. There are other recaps, but you don’t need to read them. It’s all bad.
On the good news front, the MittieCats are back in action tonight for the first time since their season paused way back in 2020. Unfortuantely, however, they won’t be able to restart at home, as the first game on their schedule is a road tilt at West Virginia. The Lady ‘Eers are 10-2 (4-2) on the season, and will be a very tough re-opener for the Wildcats. The game is scheduled for a 6pm CT tip and can be seen on ESPN+.
Football

Brents arrives at K-State with sophomore eligibility, and should, like fellow transfer Russ Yeast, find himself immediately in the competition for one of the open spots available in the defensive backfield.

Masks are a part of our lives in 2021, and Willie Wildcat is no exception. And thanks to one crafty staffer at the K-State Student Union, Willie has his own custom face masks to wear when on campus.
