Baseball

You saw them yesterday, and now K-State Sports has released their “inside story” on the new “retro” alternate uniforms for K-State baseball. And yes, as many guessed yesterday, they are primarily inspired by the Houston Astro’s “Tequila Sunrise” uniforms from the 80’s.

At least one K-State baseball player is excited for the 5th-year opportunity afforded by the pandemic: Nixa, MO-native, and RHP, Luke Hauswirth.

Basketball

Via The Eagle, Bruce Weber is eager to see what the Wildcats can do with taller lineup of big men, including the program’s first 7-footer in several years.

Also at The Eagle, the men’s basketball team hopes to schedule more games at Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena, including a return as soon as Christmas 2021.

Football

The Mercury has a full report on how K-State Athletics, and specifically the football program, is planning on safely returning student-athletes back to campus this summer.
