K-State basketball hosted a video conference on Tuesday, and got to talk with lone K-State senior Mike McGuirl about all the changes that have happened since the end of the season. Kellis Robinett at the Eagle/Star reports that McGuirl isn’t fazed, though, and is ready to regain the “winning culture” with a whole new group of Wildcats.
Over at Baseball America, Teddy Cahill and Joe Healy talked with K-State head coach Pete Hughes, who started his coaching career coaching both baseball and football, but picked baseball because it put him on the head coaching track much sooner in his career.
And that’s all for today. Open thread time: Name a realistic opponent you’d like to see K-State schedule a home-and-home series with (football, basketball, baseball; pick one or all) and tell us why.
