It’s an extremely slow news morning here at BotC World Headquarters, so we’ll just get right to it and then let y’all have a fun day of talking about whatever today.
Well, except for that. And that. And the other thing. You know, the stuff we don’t talk about.
Kansas State Wildcats has replaced a road game at Butler Bulldogs on the schedule with a home game tomorrow night against Fort Hays State. Tuesday was available because the game against Wisconsin-Milwaukee originally scheduled for tomorrow was moved to the original Butler date.
You may now commence complaining about how a regular-season game against a D-II school will harm K-State’s NCAA Tournament chances.

Okay, on to football.
First, the bowl projections. K-State has disappeared from everyone’s projections except ESPN, which hasn’t posted this week’s yet, and Jerry Palm at CBS still has K-State in the First Responder Bowl against SMU.
In today’s Sports Extra, Austin Siegel runs down Deuce Vaughn’s fantastic freshman campaign. Vaughn finished the year with 642 yards rushing and 434 through the air, which adds up to over a thousand and that’s pretty spiffy.
