A quick recap of all the actual Kansas State teams in action this weekend:
Volleyball: Kansas State dropped a back-and-forth match 3-2 (26-28, 25-20, 25-27, 25-22, 12-15) to the Ohio Bobcats last night at the North Texas Invitational. Gloria Mutiri led the team with 17 kills, while Sarah Dixon had a career-high 61 assists, the first time any Wildcat has crossed the 60-mark since 2016.
Soccer: Yesterday’s match against #7 BYU was postponed due to the threat of severe weather in Manhattan. Kickoff is now scheduled for 6 PM tonight at Buser Family Park. If you’re attending, it’s also the “Cats for the Cure” match.
Tennis: At the Marliss Guver Inviational in Auburn, the tennis team notched five singles victories, with Rosanna Maffei, Ioana Gheorghita, and Karin Marion-Job all winning their first matches, and Maffei and Gheorghita also winning their second matches of the day to go 4-0. Competition continues today with doubles matches.
Golf: Despite a last-place finish last week, the men’s golf team is confident and hopes to bounce back in Dallas at the Trinity Forest Invitational. The event will be the scoring lineup debut for Riccardo Leo and George Clarke. Meanwhile, the women’s golf team, fresh off a birdie-laden win at their last event, will tee off at the East and West Matchplay event in Madison, Wisconsin.
Football: Kansas State is off today, but there’s plenty of football action available today. For all the games and broadcast info, check HERE.
