Football
It’s 80 days to kickoff, so be watching for the profile of FB/TE Adam Harter to drop in the lunch hour.
Yesterday, Drew posted his profile of the second of the five commitments from last week, defensive line prospect Ronald Triplette out of Pearland, TX, who has the skills to play defensive end and the potential to add size to play defensive tackle.
On the national scene, Ian Boyd of SB Nation and his own site sportstreatise.com took notice of the 2020 recruiting class Chris Klieman is putting together, and after being initially dismissive based on the first-glance eye test, came away generally approving of the job that Klieman is doing in his first full season of recruiting.
Over at KSO, Matt Hall is doing a “100 Questions” series (free) to help bridge the time before football starts again. Question No. 45 is about Bill Snyder, and when we might see him next in an “official” capacity for K-State; something Hall thinks that will happen sooner rather than later, especially after the ESPN story came out and Snyder has been able to clear the air, in his own way, just a bit.
Volleyball
The K-State volleyball team is making the most of the extra practice time allowed as part of their summer trip to Brazil, and head coach Suzie Fritz feels like the team has made some “big jumps” so far this summer.
