— Seven football players earned All-Big 12 honors from Phil Steele, including Joshua Youngblood and Wyatt Hubert, both with first team nods.
— Chris Klieman is more than a bit worried about the Liberty Bowl and the rushing juggernaut that is Navy. Thanks to the unique triple-option offense, the Midshipmen have averaged 363.8 yards on the ground at a clip of 6.1 yards per carry.

— Kansas State is in a five-year skid in terms of enrollment decline. The sharpest drop is in enrollment in rural counties.
