Merry Christmas!

There’s not much to report...

DOWNTON LISBON CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

There’s not much going on, as Kansas State is on holiday break, so feel free to use this Slate as your BotC Christmas open thread.

— Kansas State’s student-athletes donated a lot of money for the Adopt-A-Family program.

— Seven football players earned All-Big 12 honors from Phil Steele, including Joshua Youngblood and Wyatt Hubert, both with first team nods.

— Chris Klieman is more than a bit worried about the Liberty Bowl and the rushing juggernaut that is Navy. Thanks to the unique triple-option offense, the Midshipmen have averaged 363.8 yards on the ground at a clip of 6.1 yards per carry.

— Are there too many bowl games? Yes. Quit your whining and get off my lawn.

— Kansas State is in a five-year skid in terms of enrollment decline. The sharpest drop is in enrollment in rural counties.

And that’s all she wrote. Merry Christmas and to all a good morning!
