Since we have news from all around, but nothing big to healdine, we’ll jump right into it today.
First up, BracketCat brought us under 40 days to kickoff with profile of incoming freshman wide receiver EJ Turner. Turner is part of the current Georgia pipeline.
Over at K-State Sports, they have announced a new agreement with Colbert Hills Golf Course and the K-State Golf Course Management and Research Foundation (KSUGCMRF) that extends K-State’s commitment to Colbert Hills through 2023 as the home of both men’s and women’s golf programs.
They also have updates on summer activities of current and former student-athletes, starting with their weekly summer baseball update. Also, men’s basketball walk-on Pierson McAtee will be headed to Europe in early August as part of the Global Sports Academy, and he will get to play 6 games over 8 days in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands.
There was a surprising development out of K-State volleyball yesterday, as Manhattan High graduate Kenzie Smith announced that she would be attending K-State this year after originally signing to play at Newman University in Wichita.
