Football

Dalton Risner and Duke Shelley were named to the watch list for the Outland Trophy and the Nagurski Trophy respectively. This is Risner’s second year on the Outland watch list, and the third straight appearance for Shelley on the Nagurski list. (kstatesports.com)

Basketball

Track and Field

Kansas State announced two additions to the track and field coaching staff. Lamar Garrett joins the staff as an assistant coach, while Ryan Hershberger joins as a Track and Field assistant. (kstatesports.com)

Miscellaneous

Nigeria’s soccer federation has been in turmoil since the end of the World Cup with the state security officers storming the Nigerian federation headquarters to remove a group who claimed control of the federation, while the team was in Russia. (Gerald Imray, AP via Wichita Eagle)
