Football
Yesterday, the Big 12 Conference announced the Big 12 Football Media Days participants for each school. Your Kansas State Wildcats will be represented by 3-time participant Dalton Risner, Duke Shelley, and — in a move surely designed to continue to play with everyone’s minds — both potential starting QB’s: Alex Delton and Skylar Thompson.
On “lets talk about anything during the summer” front, on Twitter SB Nation asked “What’s something about your favorite sports team that most people misunderstand?”, which garnered this reply from headmaster Jon:
Bill Snyder, he of the crushing 11-minute 64-yard drive, introduced the spread to the Big 8. https://t.co/HW1YI8kPYC

Which was followed up with an addendum from Tim Fitzgerald:
There's a whole generation that doesn't remember Chad May throwing the ball over the field out of five-receiver sets. I bet we see some five-wide this season with Coleman as OC.

Ira Winderman at the Sun Sentinel (south Florida) has a look at Miami Heat gurad, and K-State alum, Rodney McGruder and his need to be patient while he heals from an injury he suffered last season. The Heat do not seem to be too concerned though, as at the end of June they picked up the $1.5-mil 2018-19 guarantee to keep McGruder off the free agent market.
