It’s going down tonight. The final road game of the 2017-18 season. It’s a purple on purple battle as the Wildcats fight the Horned Frogs for purple supremacy at 8 pm. You can witness this clash on ESPNU at 8 pm.(Kellis Robinett, Wichita Eagle)

If it seems like deja vu all over again its because this game, and the necessity of a win, has happened before. Last season the Wildcats found themselves needing a win over TCU to feel good about their NCAA chances, and we’re right back in that same spot this season. (Tim Bisel, Capital Journal)

Kansas State could break the habit of needing to beat TCU every year to feel good about their chances, by learning from the Horned Frogs and scheduling tougher non-conference opponents. (Kellis Robinett, Wichita Eagle)

Women’s Basketball

Kansas State dominated Texas Tech on the road last night winning 86-63 in their final regular season game. Rachel Ranke, the Big 12 Freshman of the week, led the way for the Wildcats scoring 26 points, going 9 of 17 from the floor and 6 of 13 from long range. (Julia Jorns, The Collegian)

The Kansas State Wildcats move onto Big 12 tournament play where they enter as the 7th seed, and will face the 10th seeded Texas Tech Red Raiders. Should they win, they will move onto the Quarterfinals against the 2nd ranked Texas Longhorns.
