Football

I could easily post two dozen links in this sentence, but I’ll make it easy on you. The mothership’s college football preview is out. You should go read all of it.

Patrick Stevens previews the Big 12 at the Washington Post, and pegs the Cats for a 9-4 finish and third place.

Matt Brown at Sports on Earth offers his preseason bowl projections, and he -- like our colleagues at the mothership -- has K-State facing Louisville in Orlando. Soccer

Other

The Pittsburg High students whose investigative reporting caused their incoming principal to resign before even starting the job aren’t shutting up. Maya Wilson of Poynter, the nation’s pre-eminent media observation site, checks in on the staff of the Booster five months later.
