Injuries and inconsistency plague the Wildcats

The Wildcats battle both injuries and inconsistency during spring practice.

With all the injuries this spring, the Wildcats struggled with consistency especially in QB play, as returning starter Jesse Ertz sat out this spring. (, Mitch Sherman)

One bright spot this spring was the play of sophomore receiver, Carlos Strickland, who transferred to Kansas State after just one season with Cal. (Wichita Eagle, Kellis Robinett)

Jordan Willis is ready to move onto the next step of his pro career after spending time since the combine trying to sell himself to various teams (Capital Journal, Ken Corbitt)


Both Jake Scudder, and Will Brennan took home Big 12 weekly honors, with Scudder winning Big 12 player of the week, and Brennan taking home Newcomer of the week. (

The Cats look to continue their winning ways, as they head up I-70 to Kauffman Stadium to face the 10th ranked Razorbacks of Arkansas. (


Following a windy round one the Wildcats find themselves in seventh place in the Big 12 Golf championships. The wind was so bad, play was suspended and will resume Tuesday morning. (
