Basketball
The upcoming game this week will be a tough one for Wildcat fans, as Brad Underwood returns home as the head coach Oklahoma State. Emotions will surely be riding high, with Underwood expected to receive a warm welcome. (Kevin Haskin, Capital Journal)
While it will be a warm welcome, it will likely be awkward too, since many fans wanted Bruce Weber fired in order to court Underwood. And the fact that Weber still hasn’t proved himself certainly doesn’t help the awkwardness. (Bob Lutz, Wichita Eagle)
The game itself is sure to be a fight for the Wildcats, as the Cowboys have gone 7-1 since they dropped a home game against Kansas State. (Ken Corbitt, Capital Journal)
Football
It’s been two years since Ryan Mueller last made a tackle for Kansas State. But that hasn’t stopped him from preparing for his third pro-day in hopes of making to the NFL. (Kellis Robinett, Wichita Eagle)
Baseball
Evan Marshall still has a scar, but baseball is finally returning to normal.
The scar still remains, but @emarsh31 is finally just a baseball player again. (CC: @allieweg2242) #12Sports pic.twitter.com/jmJKFzbNDI
