There is literally no actual news directly related to K-State sports this morning, so today we’ll offer you a light repast of links both meaningless and trauma-inducing.
Yes, trauma-inducing, as Kevin Cunningham at Land of 10 reported that Jon McNamara of Rivals reported that Oregon State has hired a new defensive coordinator. The Beavers reached into the (trigger alert one) Wisconsin staff to snag defensive run game coordinator (trigger alert two) Tim Tibesar.
I don’t see that working out very well for the folks in Corvallis.
At Diehards, Shehan Jeyarajah is ticking off each Big 12 team’s best moment of 2017. Yesterday, it was K-State’s turn, and Shehan pinpoints the explosive beginning of the Oklahoma State game.
Athlon’s also counting stuff down. Kyle Kensing recounts the 15 best SEC games of 2017, and sitting there at #13 is The Two Touchdowns That Weren’t Touchdowns.
As for basketball, the Midwest Showdown High School Shootout took place this weekend in Webster Groves, Mo. Brian Snow at 247 highlighted the top performers in the six-game event, and K-State commit Shaun Williams of Florissant Hazelwood Central was one of five players to get a shoutout.
Finally, the women are in action tonight against Chicago State, and we’ll be back in a bit with what you need there.
That’s all for today, citizens. You now have one week until Christmas, which means we have eight days until UCLA.
...damn, we need to get to work, huh?
