Best Pregame tradition in the Big 12?

Wabash Cannonball is the top choice for best pregame tradition in the Big 12.

Scott Sewell-USA TODAY Sports

We took a break yesterday from EXPANSIONPALOOZA, but fear not loyal readers. We still have plenty of content for your eyes to feast upon. The biggest news yesterday was the announcement of the passing of former Wildcat great Henry Childs.

Also yesterday, the recap of this past weeks Game of Thrones is up, and we all realized that everyone in the show is broken to some degree.

We begin today's news with a little R.E.S.P.E.C.T. That's right today we put aside the DISRESPECT meme and give thanks for finally getting the respect we should. Because today ESPN.com named "Washbash Cannonball" as the best pre-game tradition in the Big 12. Better than the Sooner Schooner. Better than Bullet riding around Oklahoma State's field. Even better than Bevo pooping in his pen. That's right fellow Big 12 schools, bow down to the best pre-game in the conference. (ESPN.com)

Okay, is everyone now fired up for football season? Yeah me too. Anyway back to normal summer off-season type articles. With the return of the Big 12 Championship game, the conference is discussing splitting the 10 teams into two divisions. One proposal that is starting to creep up is doing flexible division to split the balance of power. (Wichita Eagle, Kellis Robinett)

Yesterday, Kansas State found out they were paired with Boston College for the first round of the Barclays Classic. If they win that game the 'Cat would move on to face the winner of Maryland-Richmond. (KC Star, Kellis Robinett)
