We'll lead with men's basketball today because the only news dropped yesterday involved the round-ballers. Bruce Weber announced the signing of two guards during the first day of the spring signing period. Diarra's signing was big enough news to be covered by Scott Chancey at The Morning News (Florence, SC). And Patrick impressed #EMAW alum and fellow Boyd Anderson alum Martavious Irving that Irving contacted the K-State staff to have them come look at this kid.

We're seeing the beat writers start to empty their notebooks from the spring press conferences. Yesterday came a couple stories about Charmeachealle Moore and his resurgence that began late last fall (Haskin, Capital-Journal) as well as the overall depth in the LB corps (which may be the deepest unit on the team) (Jellison, Mercury)

AD John Currie was out in Garden City, KS last week to meet with K-State alumni and boosters, and sat down with Garden City Telegram Sports Editor Brett Marshall for an interview. It's even got a "young-boy John Currie" story, so hop over and check it out.
