After a long hiatus, our favorite college football team is finally back on the sports schedule, if only for one game. Kansas State takes on Arkansas in the Liberty Bowl this afternoon. Jon Morse has all the important details in the How to Watch post.

ICYMI: In the final opponent Q&A of the season, Jon chats with Ryan Higgins from our friends at Arkansas Fight, and answers questions for Ryan at their site too.

This bowl game presents one of the few compelling non-playoff matches of the season (Greg Ostendorf, ESPN). Both teams fell short of expectation in 2015, but also managed to close out regular season on a high note. Kansas State and Arkansas will look to ride their season-end momentum into the Liberty Bowl (AP, via USAToday).

Thanks to a fateful combination of injuries and inexperience, Kansas State flirted with a losing season for much of the Big 12 slate, but then strung together a blowout win sandwiched between two improbable last minute victories to get bowl eligible (Kevin Haskin, Topeka Capital-Journal). Now the Wildcats are motivated to end the season with a winning record and send the seniors off on a winning note (Kellis Robinett, Kansas City Star).
