BracketCat celebrated the Fourth of July with another edition of the football roster countdown: #63, offensive lineman Glenn Williams.

ESPN's Jake Trotter brings you a series of patriotic tweets from various Big 12 schools in lieu of real football content. My personal favorite is the one from Baylor which features a rant from Art Briles in lieu of the flag or fireworks.

Trotter's colleague Chris Low has this list of 10 things that make college football unique. What Kansas State tradition is most sacrosanct to you? My vote is for Wabash Cannonball.

On this holiday weekend, it is your patriotic duty to cheer on the US Women's National team as they take on Japan in the finals of the FIFA World Cup. If past history is anything to go on, the game should go down to the wire (Jeff Carlisle, ESPN).
