FoxSports' David Ubben, (former?) friend of the purple faithful, predicts the best and worst case scenarios for several Big 12 teams, including Kansas State. The best case scenario is a 9-3 finish, and the worst case scenario is...well, let's not even bother with that one.

Star ratings for recruits are taking a bit of a beating this week, as ESPN's Max Olson notes the Big 12 came down to a contest between teams with mostly two- and three-star players. Meanwhile, Peter Berkes at the mothership managed to put together an entire roster from players with two stars or less.Fansided ranked the top 15 coaches without a national title on their resume. Bill Snyder was #2 on that list, just behind Mark Dantonio of Michigan State.
George Breidenthal, a longtime Kansas State supporter and benefactor, passed away on Tuesday. He was a key contributor to various Kansas State athletics facilities project, and the rowing team's Breidenthal Boathouse at Tuttle Creek is named for him, as is the new women's basketball locker room. Our condolences to his family, friends, and to the entire Kansas State community that has benefited from his involvement and generosity.
