Football is starting to make the news again, as track wraps up for the season.

It's less than three months to kickoff now! To celebrate, BracketCat brings you #84, walk-on tight end Zach Heiman.

The Oklahoman's Berry Tramel ranks all 75 Big 12 games for 2015. The November 27 contest between Baylor and TCU comes out on top. Kansas State shows up at No. 17 for the first time, with the West Virginia game.

The Wildcats' schedule begins with three winnable games in the non-conference, but then there's a stretch of bad matchups in the middle. Still, with a few lucky breaks, a 9-3 season is not out of the question. (Leigh Oleszczak, KC Kingdom).

The Kansas State women's team finished ninth overall at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, the first top-ten finish for the school since 2002.

The effort was aided by a second-place finish and first team All American honors for Kim Williamson, who cleared 1.90m to set a new personal best mark and the second-best in Kansas State history. She was joined in the top five by Akela Jones who finished fourth, clearing a personal best height of 1.87m and earning first team All-American status in the process. Williamson and Jones are the first Kansas State athletes to both earn first team All-American status at the same event. Teammate Alyx Treasure finished in 12th place, good for second-team All-American status.

Freshman Alyssa Kelly finished 22nd in the triple jump in her NCAA debut. This was a particularly impressive feat for her, as she finished the regular season ranked only 67th in the event.
