Our very own Kirk Schulz, Kansas State University President, was named the new chairman of the NCAA's Board of Governors. TB recapped this announcement and offered some much needed clarification as to what exactly Presidents Schulz's role is and how it will impact NCAA policy.

With the 2014 season in the books ESPN's Big 12 blog is counting down the top 25 players of 2014. They began with numbers 21-25, and I think number 24 might surprise you.(Jake Trotter ESPN.com)

Emilio Rivera of The Collegian previews Kansas State's upcoming match-up against the Cyclones. Ken Corbitt of the Topeka Capital Journal, also has a preview of the ISU game. He notes that the strength of Iowa State (offense) will match-up against Kansas State's strength (defense).

The last Iowa State preview comes from Kellis Robinett of the Kansas City Star, and notes that Tuesday night first place in the Big 12 will be on the line, something no one saw happening at the end of December.
