The only college game yesterday was the final football game of the season, and as such we are left with an extremely slow news day.

Yesterday was a slow news day, but if you are already missing college football check out last nights game thread and relive the last college football game of the season.

Marcus Foster was named the Big 12 player of the week following his game winning shot against OU. Let's hope he keeps up the same intensity level he has displayed since his benching and removal from the starting line-up. (Kellis Robinett, The Wichita Eagle).

USA Today released their final ranking of all 128 teams and of course Ohio State finished first, while TCU was picked 2nd. Kansas State stayed in the top 25 despite the UCLA loss finishing at 21st. (Paul Myerberg, USA Today)

After ranking all 128 teams, the USA Today decided that each team needed a letter grade as well. Kansas State received a B+, and the only quibble I really have is Missouri receiving an A- grade. I mean this team lost to Indiana. At home! (Paul Myerberg, USA Today).

Bob Bowlsby met with a group of reporters in town for the CFP National Championship, and after skimming through the quotes, I can say I am not impressed with the direction the conference is moving (or not moving). Time will tell, but doing nothing in the wake of the Big 12 being the conference who was left out seems foolhardy. (Heather Dinich, ESPN.com)
