K-State Slate: 9.12.14 - Biggest Game Ever?

K-State is all hyped up about the Auburn game, but is this also the biggest game on Auburn's schedule this year?

Jon Morse's Knowing Your Enemy feature is Must-Read content. He's already talked to CLANGA and Aggie, and now it's the turn of the Fighting Ackbars, with Bob Lynch and SB Nation's Ole Miss blog, Red Cup Rebellion.

There's no question this is one of the biggest non-conference games in K-State history, but could it also be the SEC's biggest game this year? All this hype is not helping the DISRESPECT meme at all.

The Collegian's Powercat Roundtable features video debate with Adam Suderman and Tate Steinlage from the Collegian and Kellis Robinett as well as Wyatt Thompson. They discuss the match-up with Auburn among other things.

K-State is using the bye week to fix mistakes, and Auburn is glad to have time to prepare for the Wildcats too. Auburn's concerns over their retooled offensive line have mostly been addressed, but they're hoping to see better offensive production.

Curry Sexton is in the Big 12 Student-Athlete Spotlight this week. Sexton will be graduating in December with two degrees and as a three-time first team Academic All-Big 12 selection. Next up? A career in coaching.

Kelly McHugh has a SportsExtra feature on Kody Cook and his transition from quarterback to wide receiver.

FOXSports has their Week 3 picks up, and expect the Big 12 to do well. Of the games they picked, Iowa State losing to Iowa was the only downer. (And in solidarity with our friends at Wide Right & Natty Lite, WE HATE IOWA).
