Our pals over at Crimson and Cream Machine take a look at the Big 12's quarterbacks. Jake Waters is third, and it's hard to argue too much with their conclusion; they still rate Waters ahead of their own quarterback, Trevor Knight.

David Ubben checks in with the top ten Big 12 conference games of the year. Every game between two of K-State, Oklahoma, Baylor, and Texas is on the list, which in and of itself makes up 60% of the total.

Sean Keeler wonders: can the Cats win ten this year? BotC Preview spoiler alert: our staff consensus here is "sure, if they win their bowl game."

Interesting, and very long, profile of 16-year-old Hunter Holloway, who's been named to Team USA's developing rider team. She hasn't announced any college plans, but her mother, Brandie, was a Wildcat.

K-State research in the news: a doctoral study suggests that taking a break from work to diddle around on your smartphone may actually improve your work performance rather than detract from it (which, frankly, any of us who've had desk jobs knows damn well is true anyway).

And here's an editorial trumpeting how awesome Jon Wefald was as K-State president, just to make heads explode.
