K-State Slate: 12.25.14 - Holiday Cheer Edition

Merry Christmas!

'Twas the week before the bowl game, when all through Manhattan,
Not a creature was worried, not even the team captains.
Plans to beat UCLA were made with care,
In hopes that another win would be there.
The players are all home for the holiday,
And construction of new Vanier is underway.
Afterwards, Bill Snyder on his players will lean,
To take the place of the injured Travis Green.
He'll need better play from Ryan Mueller,
Whose year has been less than stellar.
This holiday, the K-State cheerleaders laid Wreaths Across America,
In honor of our fallen heroes from every era.
Did you get all you wanted for Christmas this year?
We hope it included happiness and good cheer,
And loved ones, whether family or friend.
Happy Christmas, all, and to all, a good weekend.

(Ed: It's a slow news day. Really slow. But your holiday will not be complete without this Christmas Eve tweet session.)
