It's the day before Thanksgiving, and more than likely I won't be on the site tomorrow, so I wanted to take a moment to say that I am extremely thankful to Jon Morse for giving me an opportunity to write for the wonderful site. I have always enjoyed writing, and having the chance to write about K-State sports is a great privilege. I am also thankful for TB and his vision in starting the site so many years ago. It has served as a great community builder for Kansas State fans, as well as an informative, and thought provoking website. Lastly, I want to say I am thankful for the readers. You guys make all this worthwhile. I love the interaction with others in the comments and I know I personally feel like I'm friends with many of you even though we have never met in real life. Overall, after all I have been through this year, I am truly thankful for this site and everyone who makes it great. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families.

Yesterday, K-State dropped a great game against Arizona 72-68 last night in the Maui invitational. TheBigE has an awesome recap of the game where K-State came up just a bit short. BracketCat was a busy Cat yesterday, breaking down the depth chart before the Cats battle the fake birds, followed by breaking down K-State's updated RPI.

Wildcat00 continued her fantastic look back at some historic Sunflower Showdown games, this time stopping off in 1922. Lastly, everyone needs to go check out the amazing action shot of Kansas' defense this past week against OU in this weeks story stream, which was brought to you by Jon. I don't know about you but that's some mighty impressive defense.

Sean Keeler has a story about Kansas State facing a trap game this week against KU. The Wildcats "swear" that isn't going to happen, and with Bill roaming the sidelines I tend to believe them.

Clint Bowen is stressing the importance of winning this game, Jeff Deters of the Capital Journal writes. You have to believe that if Kansas can somehow win this game that Bowen will have the interim tag removed from his title.

Tony Adame of the KC star writes about Kansas State's defensive line's steady play.

Kansas State remained in the 12th position in the latest CFP rankings.

With the loss last night Kansas State will face the Pittsburgh Panthers in the third place game, after the Panthers lost to San Diego State in the late game. WSBT.com has a preview of the game as does the official site of athletic site of Pittsburgh, Pittsburghpanthers.com. Look for our official preview post later today.
