Wanna know what a CFB Hall of Fame ring looks like?

Yes, that's Bill Snyder's grandson, and that's Bill's new bauble. Which he just got, because he's now officially a Hall of Famer. But you know that.

Morgan Burns, First-Team All-American

40

It's that time of year when the All-American honors start rolling in, and USA Today has released their selections. Checking in at first-team kick returner: K-State's Morgan Burns!

Other first-team Big 12 honorees were Baylor WR Corey Coleman and OL Spencer Drango and TCU WR Josh Doctson. Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield, WR Stirling Shepard, and CB Zack Sanchez were named to the second team, as were a pair of defensive linemen: Baylor's Andrew Billings and Oklahoma State's Emmanuel Ogbah.

K State/Mizzou fans team up to troll KU Football

+

Nobody is surprised that two K State and Mizzou grads got together to troll the Jayhawk's season. At all. And nothing can make you feel better about a 6-6 record than watching your in-state rival struggle to even beat an FCS team. Ouch. Watch this touching tribute to KU's historic "perfect" 0-12 season.

WBB: Kaylee Page double-double leads Cats to 61-43 rout over UTRGV

6

Kaylee Page had 13 points and 12 boards to lead K-State (6-1, 0-0 Big 12) to their fourth consecutive win, a 61-43 drubbing of Texas-Riio Grande Valley (5-5, 0-0 WAC) at Bramlage Coliseum.

For the second straight game, Bre Lewis led the scoring for the Cats, dropping 15; she also had six blocks came one rebound short of a double-double herself. Megan Deines added a dozen. Vaqueros star Shawnte' Goff was held to 9 points and a miserable 20% clip from the floor; overall UTRGV was held to 26.6% shooting on the night..

The Wildcats pulled down more rebounds (49) than the Vaqueros had points, which may have an outside impact -- Page said that Jeff Mittie promised an extra day off if they hit the boards hard.

That day off shouldn't be a problem, as the Cats have five days to prepare for their next opponent. That would be Florida Atlantic, at 4pm Sunday at Bramlage.

Oh, by the way, it's the 6th longest in Eagles franchise history.

Darren Sproles' 83-yard PR-TD was the 6th longest in team history. His 4 PR-TDs are tied with D.Jackson for most in team history.

Kansas State safety Kaleb Prewett arrested on minor charge

3

Early Sunday morning, starting (but injured) K-State safety Kaleb Prewett was arrested by Riley County Police for underage drinking. It's a relatively minor and piddling charge, but it's not the sort of thing which will endear the star recruit to Bill Snyder, either.

Prewett, 20, is one of the highly-touted Blue Springs Three, coming to Manhattan along with linebacker Elijah Lee and running back Dalvin Warmack. It's been a rough year for the trio. Lee has been hampered by injury, while Warmach has had trouble getting on the field. Prewett started the season as Dante Barnett's partner at safety, and performed well through most of the season before a terrible outing against Texas Tech. He did not play against either Kansas or West Virginia, although no injury has been disclosed.
