Resident basketball expert is back to break down some of Kansas State’s issues, and Bart Keeler of The Smoking Musket explains why a few of those issues could be magnified this weekend when Press Virginia comes to town. Big 12 (and all major conferences) steals leader Jevon Carter leads a group ready to punish you for any and all bad decisions before you even try to set up a halfcourt offense. Basically, it’s a quintessential Bob Huggins team, and it’s a philosophy Bart says WVU fans have fully embraced.
Of course, the Mountaineers still have some weaknesses, and we talked about how the ‘Cats could potentially find an edge inside if DJ Johnson can get the ball enough to become a big factor. A big crowd at Bramlage could also have an effect against a West Virginia team that hasn’t always looked great on the road.
