Xavier Gordon (b. June 24, 2002) is a walk-on wide receiver from Seguin High School in Arlington, Texas, who likely will redshirt during the 2021 season and plans on majoring in business administration with the hopes of eventually becoming a financial advisor.
Gordon is the son of Joe Gordon, who played at K-State from 1993 to 1996, serving as a team captain as a senior, and was an honorable mention All-American as a junior.
After a stint as an assistant coach at K-State, Gordon returned to Texas and eventually became the head football coach at Seguin High, where he coached his son, Xavier.
Xavier Gordon played quarterback for the Cougars as a senior, throwing for 1,150 yards and 13 touchdowns on 67-of-103 aim, while he also rushed for 151 yards on 20 carries a year after missing his junior campaign due to injury. But he will be a wide receiver at K-State.
Xavier has five other siblings, including LeAndrew, who walked on at K-State in 2013 and redshirted before eventually leaving the team.
