Clyde Price (b. Feb. 9, 2001) is a running back in the Class of 2019 who redshirted in 2019 and is majoring in sociology. He projects as a probable member of the scout team in 2021.
Price saw his first career action on special teams in the 2020 season finale against Texas.
He prepped under head coach Leon Douglas at North Kansas City High School, where he was viewed as the 80th-best running back prospect in the Class of 2019 by 247Sports.
Price rushed for 3,022 yards and 41 touchdowns during his career, which included a 1,295-yard, 14-scores campaign as a senior, and helped to lead the Hornets to a 10-2 record and a trip to the district championship in 2018.
He earned first-team all-state honors from the Missouri Football Coaches Association as both a junior and senior.
Price also was a finalist for the 2018 Simone Award as the top prep player in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
