NOTE: Kansas State has elected to advance players’ classification even though the 2020 season did not affect eligibility. Those who wish to take advantage of this extra year will be listed as a (“super”) senior again after their original eligibility would have been exhausted.

- Position: Wide Receiver
- Previous College: None
- Projection: Scout Team
- Status: Preferred Walk-On
C.J. Horton (b. May 3, 2001) is a tall walk-on wide receiver from Fort Scott High School who redshirted in 2020 and did not see any game action. He is majoring in physical therapy.
With another 20 to 30 pounds, Horton almost could project as a potential future tight end.
He played for the Tigers under head coaches Bob Campbell and Bo Graham, earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior from both The Topeka Capital-Journal and The Wichita Eagle, and was selected to play in the Kansas Shrine Bowl.
Horton was a four-year member of the Fort Scott honor roll, so he should do well academically at K-State.
