Baseball

Terry Monahan of the Rancho Bernardo News Journal (local edition of the San Diego Union Tribune) previews three local teams: Del Norte of the Valley League and Poway and Rancho Bernardo of the Palomar League. Of course, there’s a reason we’re linking to this; you’ll spot it immediately.

Volleyball

Aliyah Carter has been named Big 12 Rookie of the Week once again. K-State has earned the honor five times this season; this is Carter’s third to go along with a pair for Jayden Nembhard.

Track and Field

Today’s Sports Extra features an Austin Siegel interview of Jaybe Shufelberger, who on Monday became the first Wildcat to participate in the NCAA Cross Country championships since 2014.
