If your least favorite part of the podcast is hearing me talk, I’ve got some great news for you this week. I was more than happy to essentially let former Kansas State All-American and NFL veteran Nick Leckey take over interviewing duties for a fun, informative conversation with the Wildcats’ starting right guard, Ben Adler.

The senior discussed the ins and outs of learning how to play offensive line at Kansas State, first under legendary assistant Charlie Dickey and now under current offensive line coach Conor Riley. Adley also gave us some insight into his eating habits, the importance of protecting Skylar Thompson when he returned from injury, and why this Saturday’s game against Kansas means a little more to in-state athletes like himself.

Be sure to check out Nick’s podcast Outside the Trenches on the Chiefs Network and follow him on Twitter at @mrleckey. You can also follow Ben @Ben_Adler63 (not 36 like I said on the podcast).

We’re now a part of the SB Nation podcast network, so we hope you can handle a couple advertisements. If you enjoy listening to Bring on the PodCats, don’t forget it’s available on iTunes (search Bring on the PodCats). Check it out, subscribe and review. We would appreciate it.
