NCAA Basketball: Texas at West Virginia
Unlike Kansas State, the Longhorns have had a lot to celebrate this season.
Ben Queen-USA TODAY Sports

Kansas State won’t play a basketball game tonight because of COVID-19 and some serious injury issues, but hopefully the Cats will be able to go to Austin Saturday to take on the No. 4 Longhorns. We’re trying to be optimistic, so we talked to diehard Texas fan Mike Barnes, who hosts The Orange Report, to discuss how the Longhorns have taken such an impressive leap this season.

Most of the credit goes to strong recruiting despite on-court from Shaka Smart, who’s built an impressive roster headed by guards Andrew Jones, Matt Coleman III and Courtney Ramey. Greg Brown is an uber-talented freshman and they’ve all figured out their roles, especially on the defensive end, where Texas might just be the Big 12’s best team.
