Kaelen Shankle (b. Feb. 18, 2002) is a walk-on running back from Fort Bend Travis High School in Richmond, Texas. He plans on majoring in kinesiology and likely will redshirt.

He prepped under head coach Trey Sissom, and rushed for 1,670 career yards and 33 touchdowns while also hauling in 50 receptions for 429 yards and another two scores.

Shankle earned first-team all-district honors as a senior, when he totaled 627 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns for the Tigers.

He helped to lead Fort Bend Travis to a district championship in 2019, and also competed in basketball and track.
