Aamaris Brown (b. Aug. 26, 2002) is a speedy young defensive back in the Class of 2020 from Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida. He is likely to redshirt for the 2020 season.

Brown played under head coach Evan Davis at Armwood, where he totaled 80 tackles, 11 interceptions and eight pass breakups for the Hawks during his career.

He registered seven interceptions as a junior in 2018 en route to all-state honors and being named to The Tampa Bay Times’ All-Tampa Bay team.

Brown also was named to the 2019 preseason Tampa Bay Times Top 100 list. He helped to lead Armwood to a 12-2 record and a trip to the Florida Class 7A State Semifinals in 2019, while the Hawks went 13-2 and advanced to the state championship in 2018.

Brown chose K-State over offers from Bowling Green, Buffalo, Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Georgia State, Illinois, Iowa State, Kent State, Liberty, Maryland, Middle Tennessee State, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Samford, South Florida, Southern Miss, Tennessee State, Toledo, Troy and West Virginia. He previously committed to and de-committed from Indiana.
