A two-year letter-winner under head coach Bill Arnold at Hayden High School in Topeka, he played the 2017 season at Butler Community College under head coach Tim Schaffner.
Eichman started at right tackle for the Grizzlies, helping them to earn an 8-3 record and average 182.8 rushing yards per game in 2017 after redshirting during the 2016 season.
At Butler, he played with current Wildcats Chris Dugan, Noah Johnson, Jahron McPherson and Ty Zentner. Eichman graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in management.
