Reed Bryant Godinet (b. May 26, 1997) is a preferred walk-on linebacker from the College of San Mateo who did not see any game action in 2019 and is majoring in communications.

It does not appear he has used his redshirt and thus he has three years to play two seasons.

Godinet played the 2018 season under head coach Tim Tulloch at San Mateo, where he saw action in three games, totaling three tackles, and helped the Bulldogs to earn an 8-3 record and a trip to the NorCal Regional Playoffs.

He prepped at Springdale (Arkansas) High School under head coach Zack Clark.

Godinet’s father, Randall, lettered at K-State from 1984 to 1986, while his older brother, Taylor Godinet, played the 2011-14 seasons for Bill Snyder at K-State and currently serves as the football program’s assistant director of recruiting under head coach Chris Klieman.

Both Reed and Taylor are nephews of an NFL Hall of Famer, the late Junior Seau.
