NCAA Basketball: Iowa State at Kansas State
X was pretty much unstoppable in his last game at Bramlage and it was a beautiful thing to watch.

The Big 12 tournament and the end of Kansas State’s frustrating basketball season is quickly approaching, so we spoke to Matt Hall this week about the program’s past, present and future. It was nice to be able to start out on a positive note after Xavier Sneed’s huge performance helped him go out on top and end a 10-game losing streak, but of course we all recognize that won’t erase the rest of what led to a last-place finish.

We discussed whether this team was truly as bad as those with similar records during the Wooldridge/Asbury era, and Matt shared his theories on how it will affect potential transfers of guys like James Love III, Nigel Shadd, and most importantly, Cartier Diarra. We also got updates on how the incoming freshmen ended their high school careers and asked Matt to assess what Bruce needs to accomplish to avoid feeling his seat get warm again next season.

Check out the great work Matt and his staff do over at K-StateOnline and don’t forget to follow Matt on Twitter @Matthew_D_Hall if you’re not already.
