Well, not much has been very pretty this season. And that’s not likely to improve much tonight.
The last time these two teams played, the Bears left Bramlage with a closer-than-expected 73-67 victory. But that was in the midst of Baylor’s Big 12-record 23 game win streak. Now the Bears have lost — just this past weekend to the Jayhawks — and they are probably looking for blood. And it just so happens that the next team on the menu is the struggling Wildcats.
This could get ugly. Or, in what seems like a weird relationship in the Sunflower rivalry, the Wildcats could win tonight and get stomped by KU on Saturday, thus ensuring the Jayhawks win yet another Big 12 title. ::shudder::
We’ve got a 7:01pm CST start time for today’s game at the Ferrell Center in Waco. Tonight’s game can be see on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with Mark Neely (play-by-play) and Lance Blanks (analyst) on the call.
